Unfair Dismissal Claims Hornchurch
Unfair dismissal from a place of work refers to the unlawful termination of an employee’s employment contract, so that the employer’s actions didn’t follow procedure or were based on unfair reasons.
The law states that an employer must terminate your employment for a reason that is fair, which might be considered to be conduct, capability or redundancy. An employer must not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, gender or disability, nor treat you unfairly if you have reported wrong-doing or illegal activities within the workplace (whistleblowing).
Other areas of Employment Law in which we practice, might include equal pay claims, maternity and paternity rights, claims of harassment or bullying in the workplace and contract disputes.
If you feel you have been unfair dismissed or if you now need advice regarding an employment tribunal, or any other aspect of Employment Law, our Employment Law team will be happy to assist.
