Gerry Harrington
Director
Get to know Gerry Harrington
Gerry has over forty years’ experience dealing with all areas of commercial property law and related issues. Having joined Moss & Coleman in 1985 Gerry quickly progressed to a Director in 1986, where he is now Head of the Commercial department. His clients cover a broad spectrum, from individuals to trusts and pension schemes. In particular, Gerry specialises in property disputes and trusts of land matters, and also general business law.
Outside of work Gerry’s hobbies include being a member of a cycling club as well as his local Rotary Club. He also enjoys taking part in pub quizzes.
Gary Forbes

Get to know Gary Forbes
Gary is an experienced solicitor who has invaluable knowledge of the local area, having worked in and around Hornchurch since 1986. He joined Moss & Coleman in 2007 before becoming a Director in April of 2015, and is Head of Residential Property. Gary also specialises in all areas of commercial property law and property disputes, including trusts of land matters. He also has extensive experience in private client law.
Outside of work Gary enjoys a day at the races and is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
Satwinder Sahota

Get to know Satwinder Sahota
Satwinder is an experienced family solicitor and Director at Moss & Coleman, where she has led the family law department since 2021. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and has specialised in family law throughout her career.
Satwinder has extensive experience in all aspects of divorce and separation, with particular experience in complex financial matters – including high-value settlements, business and property interests, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also advises on cohabitation disputes and financial claims between unmarried couples. In addition to her work on divorce and finances, Satwinder regularly represents parents and extended family members in private children matters such as Child Arrangements Order, Special Guardianship Orders, and relocation cases.
As a member of Resolution, Satwinder is committed to resolving matters constructively and with minimal conflict where possible.
Nicola Moore
Director
Get to know Nicola Moore
Nicola started her career with Moss & Coleman in January 2012, undertaking her training contract with the Firm and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in June 2014; she became a Director in 2021.
Nicola specialises in all matters relating to the Private Client department, but with specific focus on Will drafting, preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and some conveyancing matters.
In her personal life, Nicola enjoys spending time with family and friends.
David Berry
Director
Get to know David Berry
David joined Moss & Coleman in 2001, became a Director in 2019 and is Head of Litigation. David has extensive expertise in a range of civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including debt recovery, contractual disputes and property matters including rights of way, rights of light and landlord and tenant. He also has experience in employment law, including advising on settlement agreements.
Outside of work David enjoys playing tennis for his local club and snowboarding.

Georgia Mahoney

Get to know Georgia Mahoney
Georgia joined Moss & Coleman in January 2020 on work placement after completing her Law Degree, gaining experience in conveyancing, drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and assisting the Litigation department in various matters.
Georgia completed her LPC and Masters degree in December 2021 and her training contract in February 2022, qualifying as a Solicitor and is now a member of our Conveyancing department.
Georgia has experience in freehold/leasehold property sales and purchases as well as shared ownership and new build procurements. Georgia also deals with remortgages, equity release transactions and staircasing properties.
In her spare time, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit.
Chloe Bonner

Get to know Chloe Bonner
Chloe joined Moss & Coleman as a Paralegal in March 2023 after completing her Law Degree, Legal Practice Course and Masters in Legal Practice. She has since then completed her Training Contract gaining valuable experience in Conveyancing, Litigation and Private Client. Chloe qualified as a Solicitor in July 2025.
Chloe now works within the Private Client and Litigation departments.
In her spare time, Chloe enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
Emmi McGill

Get to know Emmi McGill
Emmi joined the firm in May of 2022 as a Paralegal and in August of 2022 as a Trainee
Solicitor – qualifying as a Solicitor in June of 2024.
Emmi has a breadth of knowledge in areas across the firm including trusts and estates,
litigation, and conveyancing. Emmi’s areas of practice comprise of the administration of
trusts and estates, the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of
Protection applications and contentious probate matters. Emmi is looking forward to starting her STEP Diploma in January of 2025.
On a personal note, in her spare time, Emmi enjoys spending time with friends and family and training at the gym. Emmi has a passion for music and enjoys attending live
performances.
Gary Marsh

Get to know Gary Marsh
Gary joined Moss and Coleman in 2025 having qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and working in the Havering area throughout his career. Gary works within the Residential Property department and assists clients with sales and purchases, remortgaging and transfers of equity. Outside of work, Gary enjoys walking, following sports and watching films.

Get to know Dawn Clements
Dawn joined Moss and Coleman in 2003 as an experienced Legal Secretary in the Conveyancing Department; working her way up to a Conveyancer.
Dawn is incredibly organised – her ‘to do lists’ being second to none! – diligent and always on hand to assist; whether it be your first move, your move to your ‘forever home’ or whether you are adding to a commercial property portfolio, Dawn will ensure the smooth running of your transaction.
Outside of Moss and Coleman, Dawn for many years spent her free time supporting her daughter’s passion for dance, attending practice sessions and dance competitions all over the UK. Dawn’s time is now taken up with her two lovely dogs – Molly and Teddie.
Get to know Charlotte Jeffery
Charlotte joined the firm in October 2019 as a Receptionist and later began studying for her LLB Law Degree with The Open University. In 2022, she transitioned into the Residential Conveyancing department as a Legal Secretary, supporting Fee Earners and gaining practical experience in property sales, purchases, and transfers of equity.
In April 2025, Charlotte advanced to the role of Paralegal, continuing to build on her legal knowledge and hands-on experience in conveyancing matters. She is set to begin the Legal Practice Course, her Master of Laws, and a two-year Training Contract in 2026, marking the final stages of her journey to qualifying as a Solicitor.
On a personal note, Charlotte enjoys spending time with friends, caring for her Ragdoll cat, and lots of online shopping!
Fiona Miller
Get to know Fiona Miller
Fiona joined Moss & Coleman in August 2023 to work within the Equity Release
Department. She has 6 years’ experience in the Lifetime Mortgage sector and is currently working towards her CLC Level 6 qualification.
Outside of work Fiona enjoys spending time with her family.
Get to know Carla Sherwin
Carla qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2015, having studied on a part time basis whilst gaining practical work experience in a Solicitors office. She has over 20 years’ experience in conveyancing having started as a legal secretary and working her way up to dealing with her own case load of freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, lease extensions, transfers of equity and remortgages. In 2018 Carla branched into Equity Release where she now specialises in providing legal advice to borrowers on the terms of their lifetime mortgages.
Outside of work Carla enjoys reading, meeting up with friends and spending quality time with her family.
Get to know Keely Chalker
Keely qualified as a Legal Executive in 2003. Following a career break she returned to the law in 2015 and has specialised in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate since then.
Keely joined Moss and Coleman in 2025, joining our well established Private Client department.
Outside of work Keely enjoys swimming – both in the pool and in the open water.

Michelle Baker

Get to know Michelle Baker
Michelle is our Equity Release Manager at Moss & Coleman.
She has over 20 years’ experience in the Lifetime Mortgage sector with a huge reputation for giving a first-class legal service. She also has extensive knowledge in handling non-standard technical issues relating to Lifetime mortgage applications which make her stand out within the industry.
Outside of work Michelle enjoys cycling and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Get to know Joanne Coney
Jo is both our Company Secretary and Office Manager and as such is responsible for the organisation and smooth running of the Company. Jo joined Moss & Coleman in 1992 at a very young age, working through various departments to reach her current position of ultimate power and control(!)
In her spare time Jo enjoys travelling and spending time with her family, particularly running around after her four young grandchildren.
