Prenuptial, Postnuptial & Cohabitation Agreements Hornchurch
At Moss & Coleman, we provide expert legal advice on financial agreements before, during, or outside of marriage. Every couple’s circumstances are unique, and our experienced family law solicitors offer clear, tailored guidance to help you protect your financial interests now and in the future.
Pre-Nuptial & Post-Nuptial Agreements
We advise clients on the preparation and review of pre-nuptial agreements (before marriage) and post-nuptial agreements (after marriage). These legal documents clearly set out:
- Ownership of assets, including property, savings, and investments
- Financial arrangements in the event of divorce or civil partnership dissolution
- Inheritance rights and protection of family wealth
Such agreements are particularly beneficial for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, or those entering a second marriage with children or inherited assets.
Cohabitation Agreements
With an increasing number of couples choosing to live together without getting married, cohabitation agreements offer essential legal and financial clarity.
Although cohabiting couples are not legally recognised in the same way as married couples, a cohabitation agreement can:
- Define each person’s financial contributions to household expenses
- Outline ownership of property and other assets
- Set out how finances and possessions should be divided if the relationship ends
- Help prevent disputes in the event of separation or death
We are experienced in advising on cohabitation rights, as well as in drafting comprehensive agreements that suit a wide range of financial situations—from high-net-worth cases to more modest arrangements involving joint property and inheritance concerns.
Protect your financial future with expert legal advice.
